Business Recycling Event

Concord Public Works will be hosting a Business Recycling Event on Friday April 7th 

between 8:00 am to 10:00 am 

behind 135 Keyes Rd. 

This event is open to all businesses located in Concord. Please share with all local business partners. We ask that participants arrive no later than 9:45 so that there is adequate time to process the recyclables.

 

We encourage all participants to complete the pricing worksheet (on the back of the flyer) prior to the event to expedite the process. For any businesses that are planning to dispose of a large amount of electronics and bulbs, please contact Jeff from Complete Recycling Solutions at 617-513-9867 to arrange for pre-invoicing and boxes.  Please note that no cash will be accepted at this event.

Concord Public Works hosts 2 business recycling events a year for Concord businesses. Concord Public Works (CPW) partners with the Chamber of Commerce for these events.
The business recycling events provide Concord businesses with a safe and low-cost opportunity to properly dispose of computers, monitors, printers, TVs, fax machines, other electronics, and fluorescent bulbs.

Mixed Paper Recycling Program
Did you know, almost 90% of the waste generated by the average business is recyclable? Concord Public Works (CPW), in cooperation with the Concord Chamber of Commerce and the Concord Business Partnership, provides Concord businesses with a number of recycling and disposal opportunities for recyclable and difficult to manage wastes. For more information on any of these programs contact Concord Public Works at 978-318-3240. The mixed paper recycling program provides Concord businesses with collection of mixed paper and corrugated cardboard. This program collects any clean paper product including:
  • All kinds of boxes and cardboard
  • Catalogs
  • Clasp envelopes
  • Computer paper
  • Envelopes (windows and labels are accepted)
  • Fax paper
  • File folders
  • Junk mail
  • Magazines
  • Newspapers
  • Phone books
  • Soft cover books
  • White and colored paper
  • Writing tablets

Hazardous Waste Disposal

Concord businesses that generate less than 27 gallons per month of hazardous waste may bring hazardous materials to the Minuteman Regional Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Lexington for a fee. The site is open one weekend day per month during the months of April through November from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Businesses are required to pre-register prior to the event. Payment by check is required at time of event. For more information contact CPW at 978-318-3240.
