What is Town Meeting?

Town Meeting is both an event and an entity. As an event, it is a gathering of a town’s eligible voters, and is referred to as “the Town Meeting.” As an entity, it is the legislative body for towns in Massachusetts, and is referred to simply as “Town Meeting.”

Town Meeting Schedule for 2024

The Select Board has voted to hold Annual Town Meeting on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Concord-Carlisle High School. Sessions will continue as needed beginning Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Concord-Carlisle High School until complete. The last day for unregistered residents to register to vote at the Annual Town Meeting is Friday, April 19, 2024 at 5:00 PM.

Special Arrangements or Needs/ADA Accessibility

Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements for Town Meeting should contact Megan Zammuto, Deputy Town Manager, at 978-318-3006 or via email by 4:30 PM preceding the opening date of Town Meeting. The earlier that special arrangement needs are communicated, the more likely that time will allow for special accommodations, if possible, to be met.
