NOTICE: THE COA IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC DUE TO CONCERNS OVER THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS.
Our office is closed to the public, although staff is returning to our offices at half-capacity every Monday through Thursday, and working remotely on Fridays in order to accommodate the deep cleaning required for public safety. We will happily answer your phone calls, please call us at 978 318 3020 - our Outreach staff is ready to help!
LIMITED Van Service has Resumed
Limited van service will resume beginning Monday, July 6th to take van riders one at a time to medical appointments only. Passengers must not have virus symptoms, must wear a mask for the duration of their trip, and be ready to use hand sanitizer prior to boarding. As the vans must be disinfected between each ride, we ask for your patience and understanding as you may need to wait for a few minutes for your ride home.
See below for a link to read CDC guidelines for seniors and others at high risk for serious illness due to COVID-19. Thank you for your patience and for the continued efforts of all in the Concord community to slow the spread of COVID-19!
Food Aid for Seniors from CCHS
The food service team for Concord schools is working to provide food to those who need it during these difficult times. The team is graciously offering a bag of groceries for members of the community at our Concord-Carlisle High School for PICK-UP ONLY. Seniors are encouraged to stop by for a bag of pantry basics.
Summer Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Just drive in and line up in your car. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING. One of our attendants will ask you to pop your trunk or rear door and an attendant from our staff will place a bag in your vehicle and if needed close the door once placed inside.
This is in service to the community and open to anyone who is need during this public health closure!
The Concord Council on Aging and Harvey Wheeler Community Center remain closed to the public until further notice.
You may call starting Wednesday, July 1st to sign up for events that are being held remotely through the Zoom platform.
