About the Council on Aging

Here for you!

A division of the municipal government of Concord, the Council on Aging provides services to Concord's seniors. If you live in Concord, and you are 60 years old or older, you are automatically eligible for all COA programs and services. Please stop by the Harvey Wheeler Community Center or call us at 978-318-3020 to sign up. There is no fee to join!

We have experienced outreach staff that can help seniors and their families with issues that arise as they age or with finding resources available to them.  COA offices are located in the beautiful Harvey Wheeler Community Center, where seniors can find a wealth of classes, lectures, groups, events, health clinics, a well-stocked library, a lovely gift shop, and a computer lab. The COA also offers a weekly catered luncheon, exciting day trips, and Lunch Bunch excursions to local restaurants. Seniors can also take advantage of our popular lending closet for durable medical equipment and our van service for transportation around town.

Location

The Council on Aging is located in the Harvey Wheeler Community Center at 1276 Main Street in West Concord. Our parking lot is located behind the building off of Church Street.
