10am – 2pm right on Main Street in downtown Concord

New video marks new farm season
The Agriculture Committee presents Concord Farms: Open for the Season, a new video in which five Concord farmers preview the 2021 season: planting peas at Scimone Farm, transplanting lettuce seedlings at Verrill Farm, anticipating strawberries at Brigham Farm, tending hops at Saltbox Farm for its brewery, and preparing to welcome volunteer help once again at Gaining Ground to raise food for hunger relief.
These 5 are just some of Concord’s many farms, which offer fresh, local vegetables, fruit, flowers, plants, and other farm products every year. Enjoy their bounty throughout the season!
Concord Farms: Open for the Season, a collaboration with Minuteman Video Network, also celebrates the installation in May of the “Our Local Farms” Mural on an outside wall of Saltbox Kitchen in West Concord.
Agendas & Minutes
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. View most recent Agendas and Minutes.
The Select Board established the Ag Committee in 2006 to serve as a forum for matters of interest to farmers in Concord, and to advise the Board on how the Town can best support farming in Concord. The committee's five members include three Concord residents who are engaged in farming and two citizens at-large interested in promoting farming. The committee meets monthly, usually on the second Thursday. All are welcome.
