Agriculture Committee

The Select Board established the Agricultural (Ag) Committee in 2006 to serve as a forum for matters of interest to farmers in Concord, and to advise the Board on how the Town can best support farming in Concord. The committee's five members include three Concord residents who are engaged in farming and two citizens at-large interested in promoting farming. 


  • 2nd Thursday of every month

Concord Ag Day is a once a year celebration of local agriculture organized by the Concord Agriculture Committee to showcase Concord farms and local produce. This unique market showcases the bounty of Concord’s many farm businesses at the height of the growing season. Please see for more information

Turning the Soil: The Dirt on Tillage and No-till

A presentation by Sam Glaze-Corcoran from UMass about what tillage is and a discussion with local farmers about what that means for Concord Farms was held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Harvey Wheeler Center.
