Public Works is committed to ensuring maintenance activities are carried out using environmentally responsible and sustainable practices that directly support the enjoyment of public spaces. Routine upkeep—including regular mowing, ball field preparation, and field striping —ensure safe, high-quality, and consistent playing conditions for Concord’s youth sports programs and the many community members who use these facilities. The Bruce Freeman Rail Trail is actively monitored throughout the season, with maintenance performed as needed to preserve a safe and welcoming experience for walkers, cyclists, and families.
