Pre-operational pool inspections are scheduled for the weeks of Monday May 1st - Thursday May 22nd, if you intend on opening for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Bathing Beaches

The Concord Health Department licenses and inspects all public and semi-public bathing beaches within the Town of Concord. Bathing beaches are required to meet the MGL Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches 105 CMR 445.000. Beaches are tested weekly from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please see MDPH's beach webpage and Marine and Freshwater Beaches- Information for Boards of Health for more information on beach testing and beach closures.
If water testing results indicate a bacterial count that exceeds allowable limits, the Concord Board of Health will post a warning sign that reads "Swimming May Cause Illness." Subsequent testing will be performed until the bacterial count has returned to "within normal limits." All warning postings will be removed at that time.
