A partnership between the Concord Police Department, Concord Council on Aging and Concord's senior population, the Elder Affairs Officer assists in the coordination of resources, community support, and protective services, as well as fulfilling the needs of Concord's seniors.

Officer Derek Rodriguez is the Concord Police Department's elder affairs officer. He works with Council on Aging and assists Concord Senior's with questions, services and support as needed. Officer Rodriguez has been with the Department since 2019, joining after he graduated the MBTA Police Academy in Quincy, MA. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, along with a minor in Psychology.
