Annual Town Meeting

Annual Town Meeting will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 6:30 PM, and continue on subsequent additional days as needed, at Concord-Carlisle High School, 500 Walden Street. The Annual Town Meeting has been mailed to all households as an insert of the February 20, 2026 edition of the Concord Bridge and posted online. Additionally, you can view individual article sub-pages on the lefthand side of your screen.

Important Dates

The Select Board voted to approve the 2026 Annual Town Meeting calendar on July 14, 2025.  The calendar includes important milestones to Annual Town Meeting including public hearing dates, due dates for various warrant components, and meeting dates for article sponsors.

Continued from 2025! The Annual Town Meeting Warrant will be published as an insert in the Concord Bridge and online on the Town's websiteThis version of the Warrant looks different than it has in the past, with it being a "condensed" version without Warrant Article explanations and other supplemental information, as part of an initiative introduced by the 2025 Town Meeting Study Committee to a) get the Warrant itself out as soon as possible once the Warrant closes and b) produce an Annual Town Meeting Briefing Book.

Annual Town Meeting Briefing Book - To be Published Online and Mailed to Households in early April 2026

Continued from 2025 - Do not forget this book for the meeting! The Annual Town Meeting Briefing Book, which will be mailed to all households similarly to previous versions of the Warrant and Finance Committee Report, is an initiative introduced by the 2025 Town Meeting Study Committee to produce an all-encompassing Briefing Book for Town Meeting, which will include:

  • The full Annual Town Meeting Warrant
  • Warrant Article 
  • Warrant Article Motion
  • Warrant Article Explanations
  • Town Board and Committee Recommendations on Warrant Articles
  • A link to the Warrant Article webpage
  • The Finance Committee Report
  • Supplemental Information from Town Boards and Committees (e.g. charts, maps)

Public Hearings

Public Hearings for Town Meeting provide residents an opportunity to learn about and make improvements to articles of interest. All Public Hearings listed will be held in a hybrid meeting format at the Town House, Public Hearing Room (2nd Floor), 22 Monument Square and via Zoom. In the event of inclement weather, the Public Hearings will be held virtually via Zoom only.

Accessibility

Town Meeting is participatory government. As such, we want to make Town Meeting accessible to you.

Child Care

On-site childcare will be provided by Concord Recreation. Childcare is available for children 3 years to 11 years. Registration in advance and payment is required, with the cost being $10.00 per child or $20.00 maximum per family. Sign up at the link here.

Do you need a head set for better listening?

Hearing assistive devices will be available at Town Meeting for those who need them. Find the devices by the registration desks at Town Meeting.

Do you need a ride?

The Council on Aging will provide seniors pick-up and drop-off services for Town Meeting. Call ahead and book a ride at 978-318-3020.

Can't be there in person, but want to follow along?

Town Meeting is broadcast live by Minuteman Media Network (MMN) on the Government Channel 9 and the Minuteman Media Network YouTube channel, or streamed online by visiting minuteman.media.

Special Accommodations

Anyone with a disability requiring special accommodations for Town Meeting should contact the Town's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator and Assistant Town Manager, Jessica Porter, at 978-318-3028 or via email. Special accommodations should be made one (1) week in advance of the opening date of Town Meeting, though the earlier that requests are made, the more likely that time will permit for special accommodations, if possible, to be met.
