The Compost Site at 755 Walden Street re-opens for the season on Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Hours of operation are:

Wednesdays 3:00PM-5:00PM
Saturdays 9:00AM-3:00PM

Materials Accepted:

  •     Brush and branches less than 4 feet long and 4 inches in diameter
  •     Leaves, grass, and other rakeable yard debris
  •     Invasive plant species - please see attendant for specified location
  •     Usable oil-based paint and latex paint
  •     Styrofoam in pre-purchased bags - may be picked up at 133 Keyes Road, and can be purchased online or by check only
  •     Mattresses by appointment only

Concord residents can dispose of yard waste, brush and invasive plant materials during the posted hours.  

In addition, screened compost and wood chips are available for pickup at the compost site.
