FIELD REVIEW TO BEGIN IN JULY
Following state statutes and Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR) regulations, the Board of Assessors is conducting a Revaluation of all real and personal property in Concord for Fiscal Year 2023.
As part of this process, a Field Review will be conducted during July and August. Appraisers from Vision Government Solutions Inc., of Hudson MA (the Town’s appraisal contractor), will be reviewing neighborhoods on Friday and Saturday during these months. Field review consists of the appraiser riding down streets in areas of Town to check the proposed assessed values as representative of market value and to check the property data as being correct. The appraisers will carry identification and the Police Department will be notified that they will be driving around the neighborhoods. They will not be entering any property or yard and will only be reviewing properties from their vehicles.
