[ARCHIVED] Lawn Watering Limited to 1-day per week (Level 1)

To curtail water use, the following mandatory Level 1 - LAWN WATERING RESTRICTION will remain in effect until further notice.

Lawn Watering:  Restricted to 1-day per week.

You may water your flower beds, shrubs, foundation plantings and vegetable gardens.

Find your watering day at:  www.concordma.gov/wateringday.

This restriction requires all residential and commercial customers served by Concord Water to reduce lawn watering to 1 day per week, effective immediately.  Please adjust your irrigation controller accordingly in order to avoid Town issuance of a mandatory lawn watering ban.  If you are unable to adjust your controller, contact your irrigation professional for assistance.

Concord Public Works is monitoring customer water demand and available water supply around the clock, and will provide additional information as it becomes available.  Until planned infrastructure improvements are complete and the Nagog Pond supply is available, our water supply will be limited.  Your individual effort is imperative in ensuring that our water demand does not exceed our available supply.  Should demand not be sufficiently curtailed, we run the risk of having to escalate this restriction to an outright ban on outdoor water use.

For more information, please visit www.concordma.gov/conservation, where you can find details on our Seasonal Demand Management Plan, the present level of Water Use Restrictions, and to find your property’s watering day!

Thank you for your support and patience.
