CPW’s paving contractor, Lazaro Paving will be conducting milling and paving operations of Main Street, between Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street starting on Monday August 12th, 2024 and continuing until complete. This section of Main Street is the first of four sections to be completed this construction season.
One way traffic will be maintained during the paving operation through the construction zone. During the morning commuting hours, inbound traffic heading toward the down town center traffic will be maintained on Main Street, while outbound traffic will be detoured, at Sudbury Road to Thoreau Street. Following the morning commuting traffic rush hours, the traffic pattern will be switched, and outbound traffic will be maintained through Main Street, while inbound traffic will be detoured down Thoreau St. to Sudbury Road.
On Street parking will be prohibited during the reconstruction work. The paving contractor will be posting “No Parking” signs indicating the “no parking” restriction.
Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Access to all properties will be maintained, however, please expect delays near construction crews performing the work.
