[ARCHIVED] Concord Local Cultural Council grant application window is OPEN

Mass Cultural Council Local Grants Now Open

The Concord Local Cultural Council, supported by the Mass Cultural Council, is now accepting grant applications for arts, culture, humanities, and interpretive science projects. These may include performances, lectures, exhibits, events, field trips, and capital expenditures that enrich the Concord community. Applications are due by Wednesday, October 16, at 11:59 PM. Funding is available for programs that will take place between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025. For more information or to submit your application online, visit www.massculturalcouncil.org/local-council/Concord

The CCC prioritizes programs that occur in Concord or where a significant portion of participants—whether performers, leaders, or audience members—are Concord residents. The council also considers applications for projects in nearby towns, provided the applicant demonstrates a clear benefit to Concord residents. To be considered for funding, applicants must secure a confirmed venue and date; applications lacking these will be automatically rejected. Please note that we do not fund food or refreshments. Any changes to a project after receiving a grant must be submitted in writing to the CCC for approval.

Previous grant recipients are welcome to reapply, but past funding does not guarantee future awards. We cannot guarantee funding and applicants should seek additional funding sources for their projects. The grant awards range between $250 and $500.

Questions about Concord’s grants can be directed to the Chair at ConcordMACulturalCouncil@gmail.com
