2025 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING BEGINS MONDAY, JUNE 2nd
Here are five things the Moderator wants you to know:
- Bring your Town Meeting Briefing Book: The hard copy you received in the mail or a downloaded copy from the Town website (https://concordma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/55410/2025-Annual-Town-Meeting-Briefing-Book---Online-Version?bidId=) on your smart device.
- The Meeting begins and ends earlier this year:6:30 pm start (sharp) with no new business after 9:30 pm
- Two specially Scheduled High Interest Articles:
- Article 34 (Stormwater Fund Expenditures) Tuesday, June 3rd at 6:45 pm
- Article 46 (CITIZEN PETITION: Zoning Bylaw Amendment: Continuing Care Retirement Community Overlay District) Wednesday, June 4th at 6:45 pm
- Two other High Interest Articles(taken up in the order of the Warrant):
- Article 8 (Debt Exclusion for Road Maintenance) likely to be reached Monday June 2nd
- Article 13 (Amenities Building for CCHS) likely to be reached Monday, June 2nd
- Electronic Voting : We’ll be joining 70 or so other Massachusetts town meetings in using “clickers” to take votes.
