[5:00PM]
The Line crew has re-energized the circuit in this affected area. Nearly all customers should now have power. A handful of customers who were connected to a transformer on a replaced pole will be hooked up next. We extend a big thank you to the Line Crew, who have worked all day.
[August 2, 2025]
A large tree fell at around 5am this morning on Bedford Street (near Great Meadows). Lines were deenergized and a tree crew came to remove the fallen tree. Verizon, who maintains these poles, is aware of the issue and will be replacing three broken poles. Once the poles are installed, crews will work to transfer transformers, attachments and any underground conduits.
There is not an estimated time of restoration, but is expected to take several more hours and is dependent on Verizon's arrival time.
