Electric customers in MA are getting calls from scammers posing as utility employees. They may tell you that there is an issue with your electric account and then give an incident number.

CMLP would NEVER require you to purchase a debit card, gift card, etc. Do not go to the ’Green Dot’ website, call the 1-800 phone number, or provide any personal information.

Email CMLP Customer Service or call 978-318-3101 to report the incident. Scammers are able to “spoof” a Caller ID number so that it appears as though the utility really is calling, don’t be fooled!
