Road Closure Advisory – Cambridge Turnpike – April 20 and 21, 2021

Please be advised that final paving operations will commence on Cambridge Turnpike, Crosby Pond Area. The construction operation is scheduled for Tuesday April 20, 2021 starting at 7:00 AM and continuing on Wednesday April 21, 2021 weather permitting.  This work entails the closure of this section of Cambridge Turnpike (between House #571 and Rt. 2A). 

Houses west of #571 Cambridge Turnpike will have access and egress to their neighborhood through Hawthorne Lane and Cambridge Turnpike via Lexington Road. Residents of Sidney lane will be directed onto Rt. 2A. 

Heavy equipment will be present and operational.   Expect localized delays near the construction site and added commute times entering and exiting the neighborhoods mentioned above.  For more information please contact the CPW-Engineering Division 978-318-3210.
