Candidates have two ways to get their name on the ballot for a local election:

  1. Nomination at the Annual Town Caucus which is held in January of each year. Learn more about the Town Caucus.
  2. Collecting signatures on Nomination Papers (available in January at the Town Clerk's Office). At least 50 Concord voters need to sign the candidate's nomination papers, and the papers must be returned no later than 5:00pm on the 49th day before the election. The deadline to return nomination papers with signatures of at least 50 voters was Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 5:00 pm. No nomination papers were returned for certification.
