Periodically, the Town has the entire road network re-scanned and re-evaluated. Public Works uses the data collected to help optimize our road program budget by prioritizing the recommended repairs based on the surface distress and road pavement condition index (PCI).

The collected data also goes into the Streetlogix software and provides the Town with a user-friendly dashboard allowing the Town to visualize and manage the road assets (pavement, street markings and street signs)

StreetScan also submitted the data on street signs and pavement markings for staff review. This data will update the Town’s GIS database when the information is reviewed and deemed complete.
