May 4, 2013

A big thanks to all the volunteers, Concord Public Works (CPW) team, and others who helped out with the May 4th DropOff - SwapOff! This was a very successful event, with a total of 893 vehicles attending the DropOff portion of the event alone. What a great day! Below is a summary of the items collected at the DropOff portion of the event. The weight slips for the tonnages collected in the over sized waste and C&D roll-offs are forthcoming, but where a total of 13 roll-offs were required (1 more than previous events, not including scrap metal), it appears that this may have been one of the largest collections to date if not the largest. And the same was true at SwapOff. A lot of SwapOff volunteers mentioned they had never seen so many items brought to SwapOff. Thanks very much again for all of your help in making this a successful event!
