A big thank you to all the volunteers, Concord Public Works (CPW) staff and others who helped out at another successful DropOff SwapOff Day on Saturday. The forecast was threatening, but it turned out to be a beautiful day, with just a few sprinkles near the end of the event. Attendance at the DropOff was the third largest on record, with 979 paying vehicles coming through checkout.
As usual, we have no way to count how many people came through the SwapOff area, but we know it was busy! Once again we had well over 100 volunteers helping out during the course of the day. A special thank you to the many volunteers who stayed on for an extra shift or switched to a different area as we juggled people to cover everything. Everyone did a wonderful job.
